Dr. Chris J. Woolaver began practicing orthodontics in Arizona in 2001. This followed completion of a three year orthodontic residency at the University of Manitoba where he earned a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science Degree. Previous to that, he graduated Dental School from the University of Alberta in 1996 and was awarded an honorary B.Sc. in Biochemistry in 1992.
His current area of interest is in the development and use of invisible orthodontic treatment appliances such as Invisalign® In fact, Dr. Woolaver has been honored as an Invisalign® Premier Provider, a distinction given to less than 5% of orthodontists in the United States based on their advanced education and experience. Most recently, Dr. Woolaver was chosen by Invisalign to help develop a new product for invisible treatment of teenagers.
You can see Dr. Woolaver featured in Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Dentists” issue from 2008. He has also been recognized as one of America’s Top Dentists in the field of Orthodontics by the Consumer Research Council of America, and has appeared on ABC 15’s Sonoran Living Live, discussing the benefits of Invisalign treatment.
While away from the office, Dr. Woolaver spends most of his time with his wife and two young children. They enjoy golfing, skiing, tennis…just about anything outside in the Arizona sun. |
