Dr.Walker pursued his undergraduate education in his hometown of Windsor, Ontario, Canada in the honors biology program at the University of Windsor. He then graduated from the university of Detroit Mercy Dental School in 2005. After completing a general practice residency program at the Veteran's hospital in Detroit, Michigan, he practiced general dentistry in Phoenix for 2 years. He then returned to the University of Detroit Mercy to complete a specialty program in endodontics, where he received a Certificate in Endodontics and a Masters of Science degree.
During his residency program Dr.Walker provided specialty endodontic services for general dental offices in Windsor, Ontario. Dr. Walker has been involved in and led several research projects over his career including the development and testing of state of the art endodontic materials. He has also taught at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School in the preclinical endodontic course and instructed in the dental clinic.
Dr.Walker is committed to providing excellent endodontic care with the most advanced procedures and equipment, including the surgical operating microscope. He has extensive experience providing care to and enjoys the opportunity to work with pediatric patients, disabled and special needs patients. He is proficient in all areas of endodontics and routinely performs root canals, retreatments, root surgeries, and regeneration of immature teeth.
Dr. Walker is a professional member of various dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontics.
